Ayurveda is some 5000-year-old
treatment method traditionally used in India to treat several kinds of
diseases. Unlike the modern medical treatment where one medicine is good for
everyone, Ayurveda focuses on analyzing each separately. This science follows
the laws of nature and emphasizes that every individual has its own Doshas
(energy levels), just like every human being has different fingerprints.
There are three Doshas according
to this system of treatment, Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Everyone has unique Doshas
(energy levels), and the treatment requires each of them to be in the balance.
Practitioners work on maintaining the balance between these three Doshas.
Every individual is governed by one or two of the Doshas which are dominating his/her personality traits, behaviors, growth and modes. All of these Doshas are referred to some type of energy. This treatment is becoming popular in different parts of the world. People are becoming familiar with Ayurveda Dubai and in The UAE. Some American educational institutes are teaching it as a subject.
Please
find below the detail about three types of Doshas:
Vata
Vata is the energy which helps
the body in its mobility, circulation, breathing, motion and other movement
functions of the body.
People who have Vata as a
dominate energy tend to be creative and energetic when in balance, but they are
stressful and fearful if they are not.
These type of people are thin,
smaller and don’t gain weight easily, their body temperature remains cool for
most of the time, have a delicate stomach and have dry, sensitive skin.
Pitta
This energy helps the body to
carry out metabolic activities such as digestion, absorption of nutrients and
maintaining body temperature.
People with Pitta as a dominant
force tend to be hardworking and smart when in balance but can be overly
aggressive when they are not balanced.
These people have a medium build,
and they are athletic.
Kapha
This force helps control the
growth of your body. It takes care of the growth of every cell of the body by
providing required nutrients to it. For example, it supplies moisture to the
cells and organs and keeps your immune system strong.
People with Kapha as a dominate
energy tend to be supportive, loving and caring when on balance but become
emotionally weak when they are not in the balance.
Below are some common diseases
that are treated in the clinics related to Ayurveda
Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE:

Reduces Stress
Ayurveda treatment can
effectively treat stress symptoms by using mediation, exercise, breathing
exercises and herbal remedies.
According to recent research to
investigate the effects of Yoga exercise, 35 people were monitored for
practicing yoga to eliminate stress and anxiety. 25 of them were found to have
reduced stress symptoms. This research also shows that practicing regular yoga
exercises can improve the body’s autonomic nervous function.
Weight loss
Ayurveda treatment methods are
mainly based on food and exercises. Weight loss is treated by prescribing
certain types of food according to your type of Doshas.
Each Doshas type is first
diagnosed, and then he is advised to take certain healthy and nutritious diet
accordingly.
According to a study conducted by
Nutrihealth System in New Delhi, eating healthy food can help the patient
reduce weight significantly.
Hormonal Balance
Hormonal imbalance is treated by
prescribing essential oils to the patients having a pregnancy or Menstrual
cycles. According to a survey of the University of Colombia in Sri Lanka, the
use of essential oils can help balance your hormonal system.
Inflammation
Ayurvedic method for treating inflammation
regulates digestive and heart system to eliminate waste. A practitioner
prescribes herbal medicines and exercises that boost metabolism and
antioxidants which results in reduced inflammation.
For every type of treatment, the
practitioner first diagnoses the type of Dosha before starting the treatment.
Detoxifies the body
Because of the poor lifestyle and
unhealthy eating habits, we accumulate a large number of toxins in our body
which results in poor body functions. There are several ways to eliminate these
toxins from the body such as oils, enemas, massages and herbs which moves the
toxins away from our tissues to the intestines and eventually removes them from
our body.
Overall Balance
Ayurvedic treatment is all about
maintaining a balance between all the body functions, emotional, health issues,
physical activity, spiritual health and nutrition. It improves the balance of
your entire body internally and externally.
